About GMT Development

GMT Development is essentially one person, Gavin M Thornton. An indie developer in the App world.

I have been writing commercial computer software and researching professionally for over 15 years. Past work has taken me from writing games in my bedroom, to writing “Fun School” education software as a summer job, to university, to security software at PC Security Ltd, to 14 years at Datel UK developing software and hardware products on various hardware platforms along with working on optical media & DVD/CD protections.

Now as an independent developer since 2010, I have completed contract work on mobile devices including iPhone, iPad & Android. I have written apps that have been for Vodafone, Roche and others.

I have just released my first full game product for iOS called Arrow Mania, soon to be followed by an Android version.
